Our Story
Dan Roberts established The Bay Company in 1967 to supply the growing community of Wrangell, Alaska with a marine sales and service center.
In 1979, Dan sold the Bay Company to Chet and Barbara Powell, two people who were committed to serving the Wrangell community and growing the business. Through hard work and dedication, The Bay Company flourished and expanded to its second location in Craig, AK.
In 2017, Chet and Barbara partnered with Micheal and Deanna Villarma and expanded The Bay Company again, this time to Ketchikan, AK.
